Chassidy + Chase, Rainbow Baby Maternity Session

Chassidy and Chase celebrating the last few weeks before their rainbow baby girl arrives! Chassidy is a fellow photographer and our visions matched up together flawlessly, I cant wait to see what is in store for their lifestyle newborn session! The sunset at the end of their session was so pretty shining through the little patch of wild sunflowers we found along side the road. I love how different and exciting each maternity session can be.

Great Gatsby/Roaring 20's Workshop

“And in the end, we were all just humans drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness.” -F. Scott Fitzgerald

I spent the last two days at the Three Nails photography “Roaring 20’s” workshop in Louisiana! This was my second workshop hosted by Hunter Leone and I can’t say enough good things about him as a person and a creative mind! This was my dream shoot guys. I love the style of the 20/s, my favorite book & movie is "The Great Gatsby" and yes, my dogs name is Gatsby.

** All quotes throughout this post are from "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I was within and without, simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life
Breathing dreams like air.
I knew the moment I kissed her my heart would be married to her, so I waited just a moment longer, and then I let myself go.
The way he looked at you, it was different from how he looked at other girls. He looked at you like the moon and the stars shone out of your eyes.
I like large parties, they’re so intimate. At small parties there isn’t any privacy.
Among the whispering and the champagne and the stars.

I wish I had done everything on earth with you.
She held my hand for a moment, looking up into my face, promising there was no one in the world she so much wanted to see.
Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but thats no matter- tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms further... and one fine morning... So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
