Everleigh is one lucky little girl! After doing Chassidy’s maternity session I knew she had amazing style, but when I saw how beautifully decorated their home was it made all of my photographer dreams come true! I especially fell in love with Everleigh’s nursery and the soft colors and variety of textures they used to bring together their first born daughter’s room. I made sure to capture each hand made detail of Everleigh’s nursery, so much thought and love is put into nursery rooms and they won’t always look like that. I also have to applaud Chassidy for the bow collection she has acquired for Everleigh- she will have on brand bows every time she goes to target, Starbucks and chick-fil-a!
The Matthew’s house had the most amazing soft lighting throughout and the sweetest details that made this lifestyle newborn session oh so special! I especially adore all of the sweet little bows Michelle had ready for Callie to model. So precious.
The Smith family wanted something different and candid so we decided to split their session in half! Half in Deep Ellum and half over at White Rock Lake Park. We stopped by Serious Pizza in Deep Ellum to start off the session, because what better way to kick things off?! Their little man, Daxon, is so cute I can’t deal. This family session was also a maternity session as they are expecting their second son soon! I can’t wait to capture their first weeks as a family of four when baby arrives.
The middle of a Texas summer may not be the ideal time for a maternity session, but we got lucky and had a nice breeze during this sunset session. Brittany reached out and asked my advice on what to wear for her maternity session and I was so excited to see she was considering not only a short dress which is super cute and definitely more comfortable in this heat, but she also wanted to pair it with a kimono. I have a thing for kimonos because they add interest to an outfit as well as movement when there’s a breeze outside. The light blue paired with floral (another fave of mine) is perfect for this momma who is expecting their first child- a baby boy!
I’ve been wanting to do an in home couples session like this for so long, i’m so happy I got to do it with these two and their pup, Blue! In home sessions are seriously life savers during the hot Texas summers. These two wanted to celebrate moving into their new home with pizza, beer, and some adorable photos! I love in home sessions especially because every home is so unique, as are the people who live there. These sessions are a great way to have a laid back photo shoot, remember a home or celebrate a new one. Fill out the contact form under “contact” and lets plan your in home session!
Nicole + Daniel are engaged and knew they wanted to make their engagement session totally unique to them, and with Daniel’s lifelong love of all things Star Wars the decision was easy! Light sabers for a prop? Amazing! These two are getting married on a cruise ship so we also made sure to go to a location with a water feature to match the theme of water through out their photos. This park with a waterfall running over the cliffs and a lake with a cute dock leading out to the middle was perfect for this vision!
Road tripped out to Granbury to reunite with Sara and meet the rest of the fam! It seems like just yesterday that Sara had her maternity photos done when she was pregnant with her son Rowan and now he’s 6 months old! I’m so happy they chose me to continue to capture their memories as a family. We shot in the Brazos River and a gorgeous park next to it, there were even a few Texas wildflowers left for us to shoot in! I love traveling for my clients and getting to see new places.
I am so glad that I got to be a part of this incredible styled shoot with photographers from all over the U.S.! Hot air balloons have always been a love of mine, there’s something so vintage and magical about them. My husband and I went up in a hot air balloon over Phoenix last August and it was a beautiful experience that I will never forget. When I heard about this styled shoot happening near me I was so excited! Two bright colored hot air balloons, a vintage plane, three model couples and sixteen photographers- what could be more fun! Thank you to everyone involved !

I am so happy that I was able to take Hayes newborn images for his sweet parents, Jessica + Jason! After Jessica’s maternity session, I felt so honored to be able to be a small part of their journey again. Jessica and Jason live in an amazing 50’s mid century modern home that they have spent years renovating to their unique style and it looks absolutely amazing! I love seeing all of the small important details that people put into their homes to make it feel like home.
I always like to photograph the nursery during a newborn session, because so much time is spent making it perfect and someday that nursery will change and evolve into a toddlers room, a teenagers room, and so on. Those details are so important and they will live on in these images.
Nancy + Nick wanted to do an adventure engagement session and include their two german shepard pups, Ada + Roo, since the pups won’t be able to be at their elopement in Alaska this summer. It makes me smile whenever fur babies are included in something so important in their paw-rents life! Dog people are my kinda people. Especially when your dogs jump through tall grass and wild flowers like bunnies, thats the cherry on top!
An adventure session allows that extra time to not only get more images overall, but also to relax into the environment and rhythm of a photo shoot and be able to really let your love and personalities stand out. As a photographer its my job and my goal to make you feel comfortable to be yourselves, and beautiful doing it. I also just love getting to know you on a deeper level, if this sounds like you, reach out about an adventure session whether its for your engagement or family photos. Let’s make memories!
