Road tripped out to Granbury to reunite with Sara and meet the rest of the fam! It seems like just yesterday that Sara had her maternity photos done when she was pregnant with her son Rowan and now he’s 6 months old! I’m so happy they chose me to continue to capture their memories as a family. We shot in the Brazos River and a gorgeous park next to it, there were even a few Texas wildflowers left for us to shoot in! I love traveling for my clients and getting to see new places.
I am so glad that I got to be a part of this incredible styled shoot with photographers from all over the U.S.! Hot air balloons have always been a love of mine, there’s something so vintage and magical about them. My husband and I went up in a hot air balloon over Phoenix last August and it was a beautiful experience that I will never forget. When I heard about this styled shoot happening near me I was so excited! Two bright colored hot air balloons, a vintage plane, three model couples and sixteen photographers- what could be more fun! Thank you to everyone involved !

I am so happy that I was able to take Hayes newborn images for his sweet parents, Jessica + Jason! After Jessica’s maternity session, I felt so honored to be able to be a small part of their journey again. Jessica and Jason live in an amazing 50’s mid century modern home that they have spent years renovating to their unique style and it looks absolutely amazing! I love seeing all of the small important details that people put into their homes to make it feel like home.
I always like to photograph the nursery during a newborn session, because so much time is spent making it perfect and someday that nursery will change and evolve into a toddlers room, a teenagers room, and so on. Those details are so important and they will live on in these images.
Nancy + Nick wanted to do an adventure engagement session and include their two german shepard pups, Ada + Roo, since the pups won’t be able to be at their elopement in Alaska this summer. It makes me smile whenever fur babies are included in something so important in their paw-rents life! Dog people are my kinda people. Especially when your dogs jump through tall grass and wild flowers like bunnies, thats the cherry on top!
An adventure session allows that extra time to not only get more images overall, but also to relax into the environment and rhythm of a photo shoot and be able to really let your love and personalities stand out. As a photographer its my job and my goal to make you feel comfortable to be yourselves, and beautiful doing it. I also just love getting to know you on a deeper level, if this sounds like you, reach out about an adventure session whether its for your engagement or family photos. Let’s make memories!
Shelly and Matt are two of the most genuine and joyful people i’ve gotten to work with! I am SO over the top excited to document their wedding this September, they are having an intimate wedding in Fort Worth with their closest friends and family. I love that they wanted to get in the lake at the end of their engagement session!
Vanessa reached out to me shortly after she found out she was pregnant wanting to do a little session to celebrate and announce the good news to their friends and family! I love doing baby announcement sessions because you can just feel the joy in these photos! Bringing your sonogram and some fun props like this baby balloon is such a fun way to tell the world your expecting. Vanessa and Joe are so down to earth and so happy together, it was a pleasure to give them these images!
This session was booked as a fresh 48, we were supposed to do this session at the hospital the day after Ellis was born, we ended up doing a lifestyle newborn session the next week after Ellis needed a little extra attention the days after his birth. I am so happy that we ended up doing a lifestyle in home session! Ellis’ parents made up the cutest most colorful nursery i’ve seen yet! Not to mention their adorable pup that was so interested in the newest member of the family.
The cherry on top of this session was that they had a little crown for Ellis to wear, so perfect considering his last name is “king”! I love capturing the little hairs, fingers and toes, smiles and sleepy eye moments of newborns.
Jessica and Jason were so fun to hangout with! First of all she brought two of my favorite colored dresses, second they are good friends of previous clients which is always exciting for me, referrals mean the world to me! I really enjoyed hearing their story, how they met backpacking in another country and ended up falling in love and continuing their passion for travel and culture together.
Jessica and Jason have chosen to have their baby’s gender be a surprise which is always fun especially when it’s your first child! I loved hearing about how they decorated the nursery with souvenirs and photos that Jason has taken on all of their trips, especially from their favorite travel destination, Africa. I cant wait to see their family grow!
This little family just welcomed their newest addition, their missing puzzle piece, Case Madden Louis. I met them as a family of three last fall during their family session, when Laura was in the beginning stages of her pregnancy with Case. What I remember most about their fall session was how happy and smiley their first son Paxton was the whole time! When Laura asked me to document a lifestyle newborn session when Case was born I was SO excited!
We spent the morning lounging around their gorgeous home and making these sweet memories. I love these small moments that we captured. I had to take a few minutes at the end of the session to document the details that they put into Case’s nursery. It means the world to me getting to be a small part of my client’s life and their milestones. I cant wait to work with these four again later this year!
Johnathan proposed to Jacque on Christmas Eve at a viewing of the Phantom of the Opera and they waited until they could have a session with me to announce their engagement! I am SO honored to know these two and to get a glimpse into the amazing love that they share. Jacque’s style speaks to my heart and the way they look at each other melts my heart. Thankful for warm January days in Texas and these beautiful people.
